NU-CAST MARKS MILESTONE IN CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Nu-Cast, Inc., Londonderry, NH., in an ongoing effort to support current and future customer demands for it’s Precision Aluminum Investment Castings, has successfully completed a major portion of it’s internal continuous improvement plan with the purchase, modification and installation of new casting equipment.

An additional new aluminum heat treat oven will augment the existing heat treat capacities and provide more detailed data and control during the heat treat cycles thru the use of multi-point sensors, additional thermocouples and a digital control hardware / software system.

In addition, a new High Temperature burn out oven has also recently been installed enabling Nu-Cast to process Rapid Prototypes and Production casting shell assemblies up to eight feet in length. This unit has significantly increased the maximum size capacity and more than doubled the existing “Burn-Out” thru-put capability.
